JP4dv Transformer - Dual voltage transformer for use in EU and the USA
The JP4dv
transformer is a 4-output transformer which at the turn of a screw can
be used in the UK or the USA where mains voltage is respectively 250
volts (UK) or 110 volts (USA). The JP4dv drives 4 x 50w halogen low voltage spotlights using a
unique jack-socket system where each light cable terminates in a jack
plug which simply pushes into one of the 4 output sockets on the
transformers. No wiring, no electrical knowledge needed, push in and
turn on. The JP4dv is a 4-output 200 VA solid state transformer which is
the ideal robust transformer for the rough environment of the exhibition
hall: it will take the knocks and still carry on giving years of good
service.
The transformer is supplied with a 3m mains cable
terminating in a 3-pin mains plug. (US adapter or plug can be supplied
on request)
Each output channel (jack socket) is individually fused with a thermal cut-out
The transformer is protected by an easily replaceable 4 amp anti-surge fuse in the transformer and a 5 amp fuse in the plug.
Maximum ambient operating temperature is 40 degrees Celsius
